During your internship, you will play a key role in both our on-going client projects and expert research work. On the client/project side, you will be working with the consulting team and will likely be responsible for the research being conducted in a particular market or sector. You will conduct primary research by recruiting and interviewing healthcare professionals or patients in order to provide a detailed analysis of findings for our clients. You will also contribute to team brainstorming sessions and to the production of client reports or other deliverables, as necessary.

Our projects are often international therefore we are interested in analysts who speak languages in addition to English.

Simultaneously you will be building expertise in one of our focus areas and contribute to our ongoing programme of publications and syndicated reports. You will be asked to research, analyse and map out a niche area of interest, become a sector expert, and to contribute to our market insights and analysis.

Given our specialist areas, we are interested in candidates who have demonstrated a combination of scientific (e.g. medical) and commercial experience and/or personal interest. This role requires both elements in equal parts given that our clients operate at the intersection of medical science and business and will often require a basic scientific understanding combined with business acumen.

Our ideal candidate would have a proactive mindset and can-do attitude and be eager to take initiative in both contributing ideas and driving project outcomes. Intellectual curiosity, and in particular, an interest in our areas of expertise and desire to develop an in-depth understanding of specific business topics, would be especially valued. Moreover, this candidate should be able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people and be able to organise their work independently and efficiently to drive project results.

Through this internship you will:
• Build the fundamental skills of a career in market research and consulting
• Become an expert in specific areas of the healthcare and life science industry
• Author publications pertaining to trends in specific health sectors
• Receive training on primary and secondary research, Excel modelling, PowerPoint writing, pharmacovigilance, GDPR data protection
• Potentially attend industry conferences
• Work alongside and be coached by experienced consultants

The role will be offered on a 3 to 6-month contract basis and will be based at our office in Holborn, London. We ask our interns to come to the office 4 days per week, with the opportunity to work 1 day per week from home. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the period of the internship.

We are rapidly growing and would be interested in extending a permanent job offer after the internship to outstanding candidates who would like to pursue a career in market research or strategy consulting and demonstrate interest in becoming experts in our sectors. Our recent permanent hires have joined through our internship programme.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
